There is no vetting at this show

Please note, cats not in show condition will not be judged.

PEDIGREE – Each judge will judge every pedigree exhibit entered in the show and will award to those cats that they decide meet the Waratah National standard:

CHALLENGE - One challenge will be awarded to each entire male, female and alter male and female cat in the Waratah National recognised breeds and colors.

BEST OF DIVISION and RUNNER UP Will be awarded from the eligible males and female Kittens, Cats and Alters, in any of the 6 divisions relevant to each breed.

BEST of BREED and RUNNER UP Will be awarded from the eligible male and female Kittens, Cats and Alters.

TOP FIVE - Kittens, Cats and Alters will be awarded in each group.

TOP TEN - Kittens, Cats and Alters, will be awarded in each judge’s assignment.

SUPREME EXHIBIT - Will be awarded in each all breed ring.

BEST IN SHOW - Will be awarded by each judge in a specialty ring.

WARATAH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS Titled cats can compete for this award in their sex/group in each ring at the show.

DOMESTIC/PART-PEDIGREE CATS Compete for awards (Companion) in the same manner as all cats entered in the show.

COLOURED curtains may be used.

ALL  cats claws need to be clipped front and back. Cats without claws clipped will be considered by judges as not in show condition. 

ALL exhibits are required to remain benched until the completion of the Best of the Best presentations

To encourage children to participate in the cat fancy

 where learning objectives can provide greater opportunity

 for further development of their interest in breeding,

 showing, stewarding and eventually judging, while

 having fun.
